The client had many departments across multiple business units all operating & managing Risk using different procedures, data capturing methods and spreadsheet. With each department reported differently and individually, no single reporting tool existed. No holistic view of Risks across the business and Risk review meetings were time consuming and onerous.
The Graphical Data (GD) team worked with PMO and members of each department to analyse Risk requirements. Identified consistencies and differences between departments and managing Risk data. Starting with GDs tried and tested Risk modules, which were tailored to meet the specific needs of each department. While at the same time working with the PMO's to develop a single Risk governance policy, building in automated review rules/reminders/notifications to ensure users are encouraged to manage and update their tickets regularly resulting in client always reporting on the very latest information.
Significant time saved preparing for Risk review sessions. The RESOLVE system actively encourages updates prior to reviews. Visual dashboards display risks from different sources in a single, consistent format so that analysis becomes much more straight forward. Mitigation strategies are built into the tool to assist Risk owners. Beneficial trend analysis via the reporting tools and integration to create GDs Lessons Learned module in RESOLVE turns it into a highly valuable, company wide knowledge resource.
